In our Think Tanks, educators will have the opportunity for in-depth explorations of specific content and effective pedagogy. Our Think Tanks are on-site collaborations, where all participants will actively engage in the teaching-learning cycle. As part of our work together, we will examine content learning trajectories, tools for assessing students’ thinking, and ways to address children’s development through lesson design and implementation.
We will also be using classroom lab-sites to study the implementation of lessons, analyze children’s thinking (both oral or written), plan student conferences, and create math shares that both support and challenge each child’s mathematical thinking.
