Mini Think Tank #7: Developing Fluency with Counting Routines

In Mini Think Tank #7, we will explore the power of counting routines and games in developing students’ fluency with number. This full-day PD will explore counting routines and games across the grades (K-3). Participants will have an opportunity to experience the routines and games as learners and also see students engaging in these activities across the grades.

  • use key pedagogical moves to improve math learning, communication, and social interactions in their classrooms.

  • a learning trajectory of counting routines and games.
  • write-ups of these routines.
