In this One-Day Think Tank for Grades 3-5, we will explore key problem-solving strategies and consider how rich tasks can be to used to develop mathematical reasoning and student discourse. We will also take a deep dive into tools for creating vibrant classrooms where student talk and ideas are central to learning.

PARTICIPANTS WILL EXPLORE:
- Specific lessons, routines, and games to develop math reasoning and communication.
- Structures for developing partner talk in their classrooms.
- Key pedagogical moves that they can use to improve math learning, communication, and social interactions in their classrooms.
PARTICIPANTS WILL LEAVE WITH:
- Specific teaching tools to enhance math teaching in their classrooms.
- Write-ups of all the lesson materials used in the Think Tank.
